Shift Dress and Sneakers

Happy Monday Guys! One of my favorite items of the season is a shift dress. They are super easy because as you can see it's one piece. In my opinion, cotton shift dresses are more of a casual piece and not so much for a night out on the town. With that being said, I paired my dress with a fun high top studded sneaker and mirrored glasses. For more details on my look, please see below!

Dress: Dark heather grey Shift dress available at Brandy Melville || Sneakers: Gold foil with stud detail High-top sneakers available at Burlington || Accessories: Rainbow mirrored sunglasses previously available at Forever 21

red bank blogger crawl

On June 6th, I had the privilege of participating in the first ever Red Bank Blogger Crawl. The other bloggers that participated and their great blogs are as follows:

Now you might ask, what is this blogger crawl? Well, each blogger was assigned one or two stores to cover and with that, we each went to our stores along with each others. It was a great way to see what is out in the market today whether it is apparel or not. We visited apparel boutiques, shoe boutiques, restaurants, jewelry stores, and more! This experience was a great one because we were all able to get to know each other, network, provide advice from blogger to blogger, and have a good time!

Madison Boutique:
Madison Boutique is a trendy, privately owned brick and mortar store where they sell everything from apparel to shoes and accessories. Speaking with the owner for a bit, I learned that she and her buyer carefully pick vendors that are located in California and Australia. She said that her favorite brand has to be Monroe because it is cute, casual, and super comfortable. I love the fact that her store speaks to a wide variety of people from teens to adult women. This was the first time that I had been in the store and it definitely won't be my last! The items that are found within the boutique are exclusive and unique to the store and ultimately, lures me in to go back! The last four pictures above are some looks that I put together that include some of my favorite items.

The Doc Shoppe:
The Doc Shoppe is an amazing specialty boutique as well! The store sells mainly Doc Marten shoes but also has some other brands thrown into the mix. The minute you walk into the store you immediately get that "home" feeling. The store is laid out perfectly from the front to the way back. It has those rustic, authentic elements that draw you in. Ultimately, I think that is what makes the shop unique. The store owner along with his wife, decided on every single detail of the store to really make it their own. That was my first time visiting the Doc Shoppe and like the others, it won't be my last.
